FENS is a supporter of the 8th International Congress taking place in Croatia from the 19th – 21st of May 2022. Organised by The Croatian Federation of Nutrition Associations is holding the congress bringing together nutritionists with “experts from various fields of science with the same interest and aim: food technologists and engineers, agronomists, medical doctors, and other allied health professionals, pharmacists, kinesiologists, and psychologists and offers them the platform for exchanging the latest scientific knowledge related to nutritional science”.


Public Health professionals know very well that it is easier and cheaper to prevent disease than treat it, with healthy eating being a principal means for this.  Major changes in eating habits and lifestyles over the last two decades created additional health challenges in Georgia, so there is a great deal that we can learn in terms of current developments in nutritional science and new approaches.



The Nevin S. Scrimshaw Prize is open for nominations. The new prize from IUNS honours a nutrition scientist who is 15 years or less past completing their highest degree for exceptional contributions to the field of nutrition. In addition to a monetary award of $5000, the prize winner will present a plenary lecture at the IUNS – ICN in Tokyo.
