The Federation of European Nutrition Societies (FENS) brings together 27 nutrition societies across Europe to advance nutrition science through global collaboration. Established about 50 years ago, after its first conference in July 1973, FENS aims to promote science, research, and development internationally, encourage communication among nutrition scientists, and coordinate European Nutrition Societies. The focal point of FENS is its conference held every four years, gathering nutrition professionals worldwide to share research, discuss field challenges, and advocate evidence-based policies.
