Present research interests:  

Research areas include bioavailability and function of micronutrients and bioactive dietary components, food production system and dietary quality, prevention of lifestyle diseases and quality of life.



Teaching and course responsible at different courses in human nutrition at graduate or postgraduate level (currently and over the years) ·  Responsible for PhD course: Current Trends in Human Nutrition. · Previously main or co-supervisor of 4, 9 PhD students and > 50 masters and bachelor students

As work package-leader, partner etc.: ISAFRUIT work package leader, fruit and health (EU FP7 IP, 2006-2010) ·  ORGTRACE (3304-FOJO-05-45-01, 2007-2010) ·  FoodAntiOx programme funded by Ö-forsk (2003-2005) · as well as a number of previous EU projects.



Scientific publications include more than 140 publications of which 64 have been published in

international journals with peer review (h-index 22).
