FENS is now seeking applications to host the next FENS Conference in 2023. The conference brings together affiliated societies from across Europe and is the premier European meeting, attracting 2,500 delegates. The conference provides the host member the opportunity to profile and champion the scientific achievements of their own country and region, promote the activities of their Society as well as build and develop international collaboration and relationships. The FENS Award is presented to a European colleague, recognised in the field of nutritional sciences and given in recognition for their achievements in their career. To assist with attending the FENS 2019 Conference in Dublin, Ireland this October, The International Union of Nutritional Sciences (IUNS) is sponsoring travel to the conference. The Early Career Travel Bursary programme is available on a first-come-first-served basis.
Travel bursaries are available to those who can least afford to attend scientific meetings and conferences around the world. The bursaries are reserved for those in the early stages of their careers i.e. within 10 years of higher degree graduation, who have an abstract accepted at the conference.

“Scientific basis for FBDGs – new challenges” Translating scientific findings into nutritional recommendations.
FENS are hosting a Summer School in Belgrade (19 – 23 August 2019) in collaboration with the Serbian Nutrition Society and the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade on the topic “Scientific basis for FBDGs – new challenges”.
