The British Nutrition Foundation is offering two awards, recognising excellence in the field of nutrition.

The BNF Prize

The Prize will be awarded to a UK-based leader in nutrition, who has made an outstanding contribution to the field over a number of years. If you would like to submit a nomination, please follow the instructions which can be found by clicking here.

Nominations must be received by 10 May 2026.

The Early Career Scientist Award

This award recognises early caareer nutrition scientists, whether working in academic, policy or industry, who show great potential to be future leaders in the field. Applications are welcome from any country.

Applicants are required to complete an application form and submit an abstract that could be turned into a mini review describing an emerging, topical ara of human nutrition science that would be suitable for submission to the British Nutrition Foundation’s peer-reviewed journal Nutrition Bulletin.
