The Sabri Ülker Award for Future Science Leaders is now open for applications. This prestigious award celebrates outstanding early‑career researchers whose work is advancing the fields of nutrition, food science, and public health.

Eligibility criteria:

• Candidates must be under 45 years old and generally at their initial independent academic rank.
• Applicants must hold a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree.
• Scholars from all countries are welcome to apply.
• Research must be directly relevant to nutrition, food science, or their impact on public health, including human nutrition, food technology, epidemiology, and clinical nutrition.
• The award recognises a specific, significant body of research or discovery, demonstrating originality, scientific rigour, and tangible or potential impact.

Closing date for applications: 31 January 2026
