The Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Vienna and the Medical University of Vienna are inviting applications for a full-time, permanent professorship in Public Health Nutrition.

About the position

This newly established Professorship of Public Health Nutrition focuses on dietary patterns, nutritional epidemiology and biomarkers of healthy metabolism.

The University of Vienna is seeking an internationally recognised scholar with a robust research background in:

• Nutritional epidemiology, including large population studies
• Advanced statistical modelling of diet and health indicators
• Lifespan nutriton, chronic disease prevention and health biomarkers

The successful candidate will coordinate research and teaching activities across both universities and actively contribute to the Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes in Nutritional Sciences, including curriculum development.
