The Nordic Nutrition Conference is organized by the FENS affiliated nutrition societies in the Nordic countries every 4^thyear. This time it was Norway and Bergen, and about 300 delegates found their way to Bergen. 

Conference highlights included the key note talks on sustainability, early life nutrition and micronutrient deficiencies in Europe. Further elements were two excellent debates on food processing and plant-based diets, a number of symposia and of course the oral and poster presentations mainly by early career scientists. 

The conference strengthened the collaboration among the Nutrition societies in the Nordic countries, also by accompanying activities as a member meeting just ahead of the conference, the Nordic Nutrition Summer Symposium on dietary methods and personalized nutrition which was attended by about 30 early career scientists.
